I can't speak to the food (but it smelled delicious) but the bar was lovely. A group of friends and I met here last night for drinks and catching up. We sat by the fireplace on comfy chairs and a comfy sofa. Special thank you to our server Conner who was amazing throughout the evening. I also wanted to give a special shout out to Tara who was so kind and patient in helping me resolve a small matter I had. She handled it like a rock star and true professional. Highly recommend The Long Room - beautiful venue (and conveniently located across the street from many Broadway shows).
Fun place to go. Right next to where we were staying. The hotel we were staying at gave us drink vouchers for there. Environment was really nice it was based on the long room in Trinity College in Ireland. We only really had drinks there but they were good. I had an Irish coffee. Of course this was decked out and Christmas decor during Christmas time as many places are.
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful meal, calling our specifically the steak, the Long Room Burger, the Mahi Mahi street tacos and the Scotch Egg! Great food, great service, will be back!
Decent food with excellent service and vibe. The Last Word is a decent cocktail, not the actual Last Word but their version. The pretzel was good, moist and warm and fluffy. The herbed chicken was OK, needing more seasoning and a smoother mash. The really good part of this place is the ambience. It's a pub with plenty of room and TVs in just the right sight angles. Highly recommend for sports watching and snacking.
Great Irish bar/restaurant in the Theatre District with excellent cocktails and some cool twists on Pub Grub. We had the Brussels Sprouts perfectly charred and lots of walnuts. The tacos come in threes but the server arranged for four since it was two of us and the Pretzel was soft, salty, and took my mind back to Munich. Was heaving on a Wednesday afternoon. Kira the server was like a tornado of activity while still being efficient and professionally friendly. Had a lovely time at 5:15 pm and easily made our 7:00 pm show. No wait for the table as we made a reservation.
So glad we sought this place out. We had some great specialty drinks in a traditional bar with some wonderful atmosphere. Not too crowded or loud. Service was spot on.
Came for the live music on Sunday night- well worth it and in a cool setting. The drinks were good though there could be some more non alcoholic options. We ordered the pretzel and it took 40 min to come out. Would recommend if you have some time to spare, but definitely not if you are in a rush!
Pretty good experience overall... Food was great. Mac and Cheese is up there with the best I have ever had. Fish & Chips were very tasty and the Bangers & Mash pie was excelent. We had a couple of the special cocktails and they were also very nice. The service was very friendly and pretty good overall.
